Meet the Doctor

Dr. Joseph Santoso specializes in Gynecologic Oncology. He joined Baptist Medical Group in 2017.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

Highly personalized care delivered in timely manner. We will see our patient the same or next day appointment. Surgery can be scheduled expeditiously in a week if there are no medical issues that need medical clearance. Finally, we enjoy our profession and always look forward to caring for our patients.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

I believe trust and comfort is most important; and realizing that everything that could be done has been or will be done.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I enjoy reading and work with my hands. I am an amateur handyman at home. Thus, you may see me wondering around a local home depot on the weekend.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding?

Taking care my patients and feeling that I could make a different in some ways.
