Dr. Salil Goorha joined the Baptist Medical Group team in 2018 and sees patients in Memphis, Tennessee.

What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

My patients can expect a doctor who is compassionate and thorough, and who takes an analytical approach to understanding the best treatment. I mainly see patients with blood cancers. I also perform bone marrow transplants for patients with these diseases.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust that the doctor cares for the patient and wants to do the best for him or her.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?
What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding?

I find it rewarding treating patients to improve their quality of life.
