What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?

As a patient, you can expect to be greeted with a caring and professional attitude by our entire staff. You will get my undivided attention during your appointment. I will work with your other team members to create a coordinated plan. Along with my staff, we will be responsive to your concerns and calls.

What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

Trust. It is an important foundation of any relationship. You must trust my skill and judgment to allow me to care for you. I must trust that you have honestly shared your history to allow me to create the best possible treatment plan.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

Reading, watching movies, college football and basketball

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding?

With my breast cancer patients, I like the long-term follow-up where I can see the results of my care years later. One of my patients once told me she believed that without me, she would not have seen her children graduate, get married and have her first grandchild. What could be more rewarding?
