Communication, Translation and Patient Advocacy

Language Accommodations for Diverse Populations

Free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us:

  • Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats and other formats)

Language services to people whose primary language is not English:

Requesting a Service

If you need these services, contact Kim Danehower, who coordinates Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation (BMHCC) Compliance with Section 1557, the nondiscrimination provision of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). If you believe that BMHCC has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability, you may file a grievance with this office.
