What can a patient expect when they have you as a doctor?
What is the most important factor in a doctor patient relationship and why?

The most important factor is open and direct communication. I take pride in being known as a physician who takes the time to talk extensively with my patients and break down complex medical concepts into everyday language.

What hobbies or activities do you enjoy when you're not working?

I spend most of his free time coaching my kids’ sports teams. I also enjoy movies, music, and spending time outside with friends and neighbors.

What about your line of work do you find the most rewarding?

Being an oncologist means having the honor of helping people during some of the worst moments of their lives. Being able to improve their quality of life with a smile, a joke, and compassionate care makes even the most challenging workdays ultimately rewarding.
