Meet the Doctor

Dr. Philip Lammers is the Chief of Medical Oncology at Baptist Cancer Center and is the Medical Director of Oncology Clinical Research. He leads the clinical trials program at Baptist Cancer Center and is the solid tumor lead for the Cellular Therapy program treating cancer patients with innovative new immunotherapy treatments.

He serves as the national community cancer representative on the Southwest Oncology Cooperative Group (SWOG) Breast Cancer Committee and is on the Lung Cancer Community Committee at SWOG. He is a leader of the Baptist Memorial Health Care/Mid-South Minority Underserved National Cancer Institute Community Program (NCORP) grant at Baptist focusing on advancing access to ground-breaking clinical trials across the Baptist 3 state healthcare system. He has numerous cancer journal publications and presents regularly at national cancer conferences. A link to his publications can be found here

Dr. Lammers is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist and sees patients at the Multidisciplinary breast and lung clinics, the 80 Humphreys office on the campus of Baptist Memorial Hospital and at the Bartlett Baptist Cancer Center clinic.
